Overview
At Swanage and Dorset Scaffolding & Roofing Ltd, we take pride in providing high-quality scaffolding and roofing equipment. Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed, we can’t offer a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition as purchased, and in its original packaging.
We do not accept returns on bespoke or custom-fabricated scaffolding components, as these are made to order.
Non-Returnable Items
Several types of products cannot be returned, including:
- Scaffolding tubes cut to specific lengths
- Bespoke fabricated items
- Used boards, fittings, or beams
- Discounted or clearance items
- Roofing materials once installed or cut to fit
To complete a return, a receipt or proof of purchase is required.
Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be granted in the following cases:
- Items showing signs of use or wear.
- Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts due to customer handling.
- Items returned after the 30-day return window.
Refunds Process
Once your return is received and inspected at our Henbury Lane Industrial Estate unit, we will notify you of approval or rejection of the refund. If approved, a refund will be processed via the original method of payment within 5–10 business days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received a refund yet:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your payment provider or bank, as processing times may vary.
- If you have done the above and still have not received your refund, contact us at info@swandor.co.uk.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon collection. If you need to exchange an item, visit us at:

Collection & Returns for Scaffolding Equipment
All scaffolding tubes, fittings, and beams must be returned directly to our unit for inspection before a refund is issued. We do not accept returns via courier unless pre-approved.

- Customers must arrange their own transport for returns.
- Return costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Refunds will exclude delivery and handling charges.
