Pressure Washing

Dorset's damp climate is perfect for moss growth. We do not just remove moss; we treat your roof with a long-lasting biocide that prevents regrowth for years. For properties with persistent problems, we can also fit zinc or copper strips along the ridge line, which release natural anti-moss minerals when it rains.

Roof Cleaning FAQs
Will pressure washing damage my roof tiles?
It depends on your tile type. Concrete tiles can usually handle pressure washing, but slate, clay, and older tiles are better suited to soft washing. We will assess your roof and recommend the right approach; we would never use a method that could cause damage.
How long do the results last?
With our biocide treatment, most roofs stay clean for 3-5 years. Properties in heavily shaded areas or near trees may see some regrowth sooner, but it'll be much slower than before treatment.
Do I need scaffolding for roof cleaning?
For safety and access, yes. The good news is that SwanDor handles both scaffolding and cleaning, so you get a single quote and one team on site. It's more efficient and often cheaper than hiring separately.
What about my gutters?
All our roof cleaning includes clearing your gutters and flushing your downpipes. There's no point cleaning your roof if the debris just blocks your drainage system.
